Travel information for delegates
Please download and print detailed joining instruction and local travel info here.
Bratislava has good road and rail communications, and bus number 41 goes directly from the Main Railway Station to the Conference venue.
Bratislava international airport (BTS) is served by several airlines including some which are "low-cost" - book early! See www.skyeurope.com and www.skyscanner.net. Vienna airport (VIE) in Austria is also close with hourly bus and rail connections to Bratislava. Detailed local travel information will be on this web site in May.
The Slovak Republic is a member of the European Union and EU & EEA passport holders do not need a visa. However, all passports will need to have at least 6 months left before their expiry dates - please check!
There is also visa-free travel for passport holders from some other countries. Please check if you need a visa. See www.mfa.sk - then click English / Ministry / Travel Advice. If you need a visa please remember that the Slovak Republic is not a member of the "Schengen Agreement" - important if you are flying into Vienna. Please allow plenty of time for your visa application.
IFCO will only issue invitation / confirmation letters after the receipt of all payments.
Registration will be on the morning of June 4 and the conference will start at 14.00 on that date. It will finish at 13.00 on June 7.
